The Red Lion RL50WA 1/2 HP sewage pump, designed for basement bathroom installations, is capable of transferring high volumes of raw sewage to a sewage system or tank. With a 20-ft. cord, this pump features a piggy-back tethered float switch for reliable automatic operation, delivering up to 7200 GPH and handling solids up to 2 inches in size.

The pump's heavy-duty cast iron housing and volute, along with its clog-resistant vortex-style impeller design, are built to last and capable of handling 2-inch solids. The piggy-back tethered float switch activates the pump when the liquid rises to 17 inches and shuts it off when the liquid falls to 10 inches, allowing for automatic operation. Additionally, the pump can be converted to manual mode for testing or troubleshooting purposes.

Powered by a Permanent Split Capacity (PSC) motor, the pump is energy-efficient, operating at 115-volts, 9.3 Amps, and 950 Watts, with thermal protection.
